Inspired by the colors of Carnival, these handmade porcelain mugs bring a subtle touch of Mardi Gras to your daily coffee or tea. Each mug is wheel thrown in my New Orleans studio and finished with hand-painted green, purple, and gold beads wrapped around the rim.
Rather than making every mug identical, I intentionally vary the size and shape of each one while keeping the handles and bead design consistent. The result is a collection that feels cohesive together while celebrating the character of handmade pottery.
